In Lofoten’s best-preserved trading wharf from 1828, you’ll find our reception and the original Krambu – Svolvær’s very first shop. This is where we welcome your group with local history and genuine hospitality.
In the same building, you’ll also find Børsen Spiseri, one of Lofoten’s most renowned restaurants. Here, we serve locally sourced, seasonal dishes in a setting that adds a special atmosphere to the entire stay. The restaurant seats up to 250 guests, and our spacious outdoor terrace overlooking Svolvær Harbor and the iconic Svolværgeita has room for 120 people. When the sun shines in Svolvær, this is where it lasts the longest.
Just outside the restaurant, you’ll find our Sauna, located on a large floating dock. It’s open every day year-round for drop-ins or can be reserved exclusively for groups of up to 20 people.
A great event starts with great hospitality. When you choose Svinøya as the base for your next conference, company retreat or event, you can trust that we’ll do everything we can to create a professional and memorable experience.
We are 100% locally owned, with deep roots in both history and the local community. Our commitment to coastal culture and the preservation of historic buildings has earned us several national awards, including Olavsrosa and Norway’s Tourism Business of the Year.
