Svinøya is an idyllic, historical and vibrant fishing village in the town of Svolvær.
The Vestfjord on one side, Svolvar Harbor on the other, and the mighty Svolvær mountains straight up from the sea. At Svinøya you will stay close to the town center still with the feeling of tranquility from the Lofoten nature.

If you travel with your own car from the south, there are several alternative driving routes to Lofoten. The E6 is the fastest route, but if you put in a little extra time heading north, the coastal road around Helgelandskysten is an exciting alternative. You can choose to cross the Vestfjord in Bodø, at Skutvik or Bognes.
