Work in artistic surroundings at Galleri Gunnar Berg
Our largest conference venue is Galleri Gunnar Berg, with capacity for up to 150 guests in theatre setup and 120 in classroom layout.
The gallery features an impressive collection of works by the renowned Lofoten artist Gunnar Berg.
The jewel of the collection is The Battle of Trollfjord, on generous loan from Vågan Municipality.
Inside the gallery, you’ll find nearly 70 oil paintings and several pencil sketches. There are also several remarkable photographs taken by the artist himself between 1882 and 1892, with the original camera proudly displayed in the gallery.
We provide all the necessary equipment to ensure a successful event. The space is spacious and airy, with excellent acoustics – few will need a microphone, even when the room is full.
Next to the gallery is a cozy café area for breaks. Here we serve coffee, tea, cake, fruit, and soft drinks according to your preferences. The walls are adorned with more of Gunnar Berg’s historic photographs – all taken between 1882 and 1892 using the same camera on display inside the gallery.
A beautiful outdoor area offers views towards Skrova and Lille Molla.
