This 3-night stay in Lofoten is built around giving you the best possible chance to see the Northern Lights. You’ll sleep in a traditional fisherman’s cabin by the water and join evening outings with experienced local guides who know exactly where and when to go.

How the Northern Lights Hunt Works
Our Northern Lights hunts are led by expert guides who know exactly where to go for the best chances to witness this incredible natural phenomenon. The hunts start at:
- 01.09 - 15.10: 9:00 PM
- 16.10 - 30.03: 8:00 PM
Pickup is conveniently located just outside the reception, making it easy for you to join the adventure.
Many of our guests start their evening with a delicious dinner at Børsen Spiseri at 6:00 PM, where they can enjoy local specialties and relax before the excitement begins. After dinner, you'll be picked up right outside the reception to head out into the Lofoten night, where your guide will take you to the best spots for viewing the Northern Lights.
The hunt typically lasts 3 to 4 hours, and most of the time is spent outdoors in the cold Arctic air. It's important to dress warmly – we recommend layering your clothes to stay comfortable. It's always better to have too many layers than too few, as temperatures can drop quickly. After the hunt, you can return to your cozy rorbu to unwind and reflect on an unforgettable experience.
