Join an exciting safari in Lofoten's beautiful nature! If you are lucky, you can have a wild animal experience and some fantastic pictures.

Lofoten plenty of wildlife. Among the wild animals in Lofoten, it is most common to experience seeing foxes, grouse, hares, herons, eagles and the Norwegian moose. On this tour, a local guide will take you to the places where wild animals have been observed in recent days. This will increase your chances of observing the wildlife in Lofoten. If you are interested in photography, the guide will make sure you get some fantastic photos of Lofoten´s beautiful nature.

The trip is suitable for anyone with a desire for a wildlife experience in Lofoten. The trip is especially suitable for those with a passion for photography, but it is not a requirement.

The most important animals and birds on our tours throughout the year:

  • Northern Hawk-Owls from September to early February
  • White-throated Dipper (Norway's national bird) all year round
  • Short-eared Owls from mid-May to June
  • Long-eared Owls from late May to early July
  • Moose calves from late May to late June
  • Moose from late March to mid-October
  • Otters, stoats, and weasels are in Lofoten year-round
