Lofoten Ski Touring Weekend
A long weekend in the Lofoten Islands including a lot of fun and great ski touring. Welcome to skiing in Lofoten, the world’s most beautiful archipelago.
The package includes 3 days of guided ski touring and accommodation in rorbu cabin for 4 nights. The ski touring can be done in open groups where the maximum group size is 12 persons (max. 6 persons per guide). This is a great opportunity to meet other “like-minded” skiers. Our guide will make an itinerary that fits the level of experience and wishes of the group. All skiers should be in good shape and have some experience from ski touring.

Your base, Svinøya Rorbuer
At Svinøya in Svolvær, you live very comfortably in rorbu cabins or rorbusuites. Our rorbusuites have a private sauna. In addition, we also have a floating sauna on the sea by the restaurant. If you travel in a larger group, we can make an offer with accommodation in The Manor house.
Svinøya Rorbuer is an approved member of the Norwegian Travel Guarantee Fund.
What happens if the trips cannot be carried out due to bad weather conditions?
If the weather conditions makes it impossible to go ski touring one of the days, the guide will make an alternative arrangement. This can be the an easier trip with shelter from the weather, an avalanche course, or the like. Should you be so unlucky that it will not be possible to do single trip in the mountains, we will refund parts of the package amount corresponding to 2 days with ski touring (minimum one day with alternative arrangements with a guide).
