Fishing in Lofoten varies greatly with the season. During the traditional Lofoten season from end of February to mid-April we catch skrei (Barents cod)
The MS Symra is a traditional 49-foot fishing cutter with a long history back to 1917 and a truly authentic experience. She is certified for 38 passengers and protected by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage.
Once aboard we introduce you to the fishing tools and equipment featured on board. There are 10 fishing stations on board, so our guests must expect to share these between them on the trip. But do not worry - we expect you will be very satisfied by the time we head back to port. And the catch? We teach you how to take care of it on board, and of course, the catch is yours to keep.
