Rorbu
All of our 38 original and more newly built cabins are of high standard. The cabins have from one to three twin bedrooms, kitchen and one or more bathrooms with shower and wc. All the cabins are well insulated and open all year around. Considerable emphasis have been invested in maintaining the authenticity of the cabins. Traditional craftsmanship and timber is kept to give a feeling of how the "rorbu life" was for the fishermen back in the days of ores and sails.

Modern rorbu for up to 8 persons with 2 floors. With unique placement in the harbor of Svolvær, you will get a great view and feel close to the town, sea, and mountains around. Our rorbu XXL(+) have a high standard, good beds, and plenty of space. Each with a private quay front terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a cold drink in the evening sun. The rorbu XXL/XXL+ have 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room.
Historical houses
Our historical houses have been renovated with a knowledgeable hand, and respect for the rich coastal cultural history they tell. All the houses are located in the rorbu environment and form a totality in the living fishing village that Svinøya is. Each house tells its own story in its own way.

Vestfjord Apartments
The Vestfjord apartments are beautifully situated at the edge of a promontory on Svinøya. 300 meters from our main building with reception and restaurant Børsen Spiseri. The building has 6 units with a total of 16 beds. Here you have free parking right outside. Brilliant sea and mountain views across the Vestfjord, and a large shared veranda where you can enjoy the evening sun or experience stormy weather. The apartments on the second floor have private balconies. In the building, you will find 2 apartments with two bedrooms, 1 apartment with one bedroom, 2 double rooms, and 1 studio apartment (without sea view).
The Manor House
Summer, winter, autumn and spring, the Manor House on the island of Svinøya has weathered every season of the year since 1828. This soon to be 200 year old main building is now available for overnight accommodation and functions as the very ‘jewel in the crown’ at Svinøya Rorbuer.
